Welcome

Welcome to my site. My name is Anne-Marie. I have been sewing, knitting and crocheting for over 40 years and along the way I have engaged in other crafts such as beadwork, weaving, embroidery, macramé and drawing.

When I was a child, sewing and knitting were part of the primary school curriculum for all students, or at least for all girls. This is no longer the case. For me this is a pity as, aside from the pleasure principal, these are valuable life skills. And so, recently I have branched into teaching these skills to others, adult and child alike.

I will use this blog to detail my endeavours and share skills, designs and 'how to's.
